Combined HRT help!!

I'll try to keep short. Finally got appointment for GR to discuss peri-menopuase. She said I would need the combined HRT because I still have a womb and periods. Had to wait ages for her to research what was most readily available and she has now prescribed me Everol patches. But the prescription only has patches but I was sure she had said I would also need progesterone. The doctor is now out until next Monday which is so frustrating as I need to get started ASAP. Does anyone have any clue about wether I should just get started with the patches or wait - or what this other med is?

They should be combined ones .. so for two weeks you’ll apply the oestrogen only ones then for the following two weeks you’ll apply combined oestrogen and progesterone.. is it Sequi you’ve been given ?

Its Evorel patches she has prescribed.

I've just checked and its Sequi patches so sounds like that's all ok then. Thanks so much for your quick reply.

I'm glad you've got the sequi. Inside the packet there are two types of patches. Make sure you're putting the right patch on the right days. So for the the first 14 days (you'll change it twice a week) it's everol 50 and for the next 14 days it's everol conti. And repeat.
