Feet on fire

I'm in my mid 50s, in peri for several years (gaps between periods now anything from 30 to 100+ days but keep coming back) and I have the usual pick n mix of symptoms - insomnia, anxiety, brain fog, occasional hot flushes, etc. So far it's been tedious but manageable without HRT. Just recently I've been waking up in the early hours with feet feeling like they're on fire. I put them outside the bedcovers and they eventually cool down (although by then I'm wide awake and fretting over work or family or whatever my brain has decided to ruminate on). Is burning feet just another menopause symptom or should I be going to the doctor for investigation? I'm aware it's easy to put every new symptom down to menopause and possibly miss something that should be looked into, especially when it's difficult to get a GP appointment.

I wake up with ridiculously hot feet in the early hours of the morning too. I am just 50 and on HRT but don't know if it is just another symptom or not!

Horse chestnut gel helps. It totally is a menopause symptom.

Thank you both! Off to google horse chestnut gel now (menopause is much more expensive than I anticipated).
