Terrible fatigue and cant be bothered

Anyone else? I just have this constant fatigue , no matter how much I sleep I can’t seem to muster up the enthusiasm to do anything, even walking down to the corner shop.

I wondered whether anyone else felt like this? Has HRT helped?

Magnesium and stopping alcohol helped me.

@DustyLee123 thanks, which magnesium do you have?

I'm taking a general supplement, wellwoman or something similar which also has B vitamins. Being low in these can make you feel down and tired.

I feel like this too. HRT hasn’t helped, and I rarely drink alcohol. Waiting to hear about @DustyLee123‘s magnesium solution

SirChenjins · 28/08/2023 16:46

Me too. I can't take HRT but am taking supplements as mentioned - nada.

I’m on L-Threonate for brain fog mainly. If I were taking it for any other reason I’d take magnesium glycinate.

DustyLee123 · 28/08/2023 17:29

I’d take vit B complex too for energy.
Because you’re menopause age I’d add in vit D3 and K2, and a good quality omega 3 with high sources of EPA and DHA.

And get yourself a good bedtime routine.

UtterlyUnimaginativeUsername · 28/08/2023 19:04

Are you getting quality sleep? Sleep apnea can leave you exhausted and non-functional.

Beamur · 28/08/2023 19:07

Have you had a blood test?
Mine was low on iron and Vitamin D - I am definitely less tired out when I take supplements for these. I have found HRT helped too.

I tried A.Vogel menopause supplements. I was having same problem as you. I do feel better x
