HRT not helping with rage etc.

I am on HRT patches and still very quick to anger, full of rage. Evorel patches and uterogestan.
Am I just an old cow?

God, mirena made me murderous.

Talk to your GP OP. It could be that you're sensitive to something in your current regime or maybe missing something.

One thing to maybe think about is do you drink booze? I've had to knock it on the head completely since I hit peri - it makes me very emotionally disregulated, even in very small amounts.

I drink very little nowadays. I think the mirena would be bad for me...I did NOT get on with pills etc

I was listening to something on the radio the other day about how the increased attention paid to the menopause has made us much more likely to blame it for a whole host of things that are in fact totally unrelated.

I feel massively full of rage almost all the time. I know it isn't the menopause, since I am a decade past that. I suspect it might be life - the usual range of traumatic events, mental load, etc.

Are you on the lowest or highest dose? I have noticed a marked difference in the effectiveness of my HRT after moving from 25 to 50 (was on patches but they kept falling off so now on gel but still on equivalent of 50mg)
