HRT Sandrena question

I’ve been taking HRT for a while now and don’t really feel it’s helping much.
I use Sandrena gel 1mg.
For those of you using Sandrena - is 1mg a big dose?
I used to take half that much so was hoping for a significant improvement when it was doubled.
Just wondering whether there’s room for a bigger dose.
I don’t know how Sandrena dosing compares to other types of oestrogen, so reading other threads hasn’t been very helpful.

I started on that and it annoyed me as it took ages to dry and then after initially working felt like I needed something else so doctor put me on estrogel pump and it is much better. Think they prescribe Sandrena as it is cheaper. I also take the utrogestrone vaginally as get less side effects as taking it orally was killing me as felt awful as sensitive to progesterone. Could barely function on it but taken vaginally so much better and not so bloated. Hope this helps a little.

Thank you. Maybe I’ll suggest swapping to the pump at my next appointment.

1mg Sandrena is the same as an Evorel 50 patch, I think, or two pumps of oestogel? So a pretty average, basic starter dose. Apols if I'm wrong but that's what I read on the guidelines.

Sandrena gel only takes a minute to dry on me. Just rub it in all over your arse/thigh/hip when your skin is dry.

Thank you
