Scalp itching like crazy

I’m clawing like a mad woman right now. it feels like I have a million weevils crawling over my scalp.

My hair has also gone very dry and frizzy (it’s quite fine to start with). Any suggestions?

As I am itchy shampoo.

No clever suggestions as I have tried pretty much everything, just sympathy, its awful isn't it! Someone suggested coconut oil with drops of lavender essential oil in, so that's my next experiment...

I had this for months and then read a thread here where someone recommended Dercos anti-dandruff shampoo and it stopped the itching almost immediately.
