HRT and blurry vision

I started HRT a week ago and have noticed that my vision is blurry for a couple of hours after applying my gel. I know that this is a potential side effect. My question is, is that a permanent side effect or does it ease off after a while? Also, if you stop using HRT does your vision go back to normal? Thanks.

I've never seen this as a side effect.
Is it on the leaflet?

I think you should see your GP.

I will do Ask My GP when it opens in the morning. It’s not on the leaflet but is there when I look online. Not sure HRT is for me, I’ve put half a stone on in a week, my boobs are like rocks and I feel odd. Think it’s too much all at once, I’ve got the gel, progesterone tablets and vaginal pessary. I feel worse than I did before.

Do you mean on the website of the manufacturer of Oestrogel?
If not, I'd ignore whatever you have read- post a link if you like!

You can't really make a decision in a week- the guidance is 3 months.
If you are using 2 pumps of gel, drop back to half a pump or 1 pump for a few weeks and give your body time to adjust.

But any blurry vision needs looking into. That's not normal.

Is the blood pressure normal?

Thanks for your responses Jingling. BP is elevated. Waiting for response from Ask My GP.
