Can I ask how you found Everol patches please?

I am day 4 and feeling bloody dreadful.
Itching quite a lot, feel bone tired, utterly utterly exhausted but mostly, the hot flushes have ramped up and are now every couple of hours rather than every day or so.
Im so uncomfortable.

Is this usual? will it get better if I persevere?

Im planning on sticking it out because I can no longer tolerate the peri symptoms and function.

A bit of reassurance would be great, thanks x

Hey I’m on evorel sequi and they worked overnight for me I’ve never had hot flushes so can’t comment on that

WunWun · 04/08/2023 20:21

My hot flushes got better pretty quickly with Evorel Sequi. The only downside I had with them was they seemed to make my period lighter but longer for some reason. I'm trying something else now, but aside from the period thing the ES were good for me

Thanks for replying.

Maybe coincidence, I may be harbouring the flu or some such.

I will carry on.

I tried them for 3 months and didn't get on. Bloating, head aches, nausea, sickness and increase in migraines.

But I did sleep better and ached less.

I am on nothing now and feel better but sleep less. Bloody hormones

ramonaquimby · 05/08/2023 06:21

I was on them for about 6 months. Didn’t stop the itching and I was allergic to the glue (?) , left awful patches that would be there for weeks. I looked like a checkerboard. am on fem 7 conti now and they have been fine

Sssudio · 05/08/2023 06:37

I love mine, tried to swap to oestrogel and felt awful so back on the Evorel.

i can’t use the combined ones though as react badly to the progesterone element but am using vaginal progesterone and it’s fine.

Hope things improve

On Evorel 50 and they are brilliant for me - I also have a Mirena.

I started on them late on in meno though.

I hope things settle for you soon.

CandyLeBonBon · 05/08/2023 07:28

I started them recently and found them to be excellent - symptoms disappeared almost immediately

OHVanessaShanessaJenkins · 05/08/2023 09:43

Thanks again, I’m persevering.

Absolutely love them. I'm on Everol 100 and they work a treat. Stopped the night sweats at 100 but I still had some night sweats on 50 and 75.

Couldn't care less about the black outline marks I just whack the next patch on top, alternating sides each time.

Definitely persevere.

HappyBackHome · 05/08/2023 16:23

I'm on the Evorel 50's, they have been great for me too, no noticeable side effects. My Mirena is coming to an end so I'm shortly going to move over to the combined patches and I'm hoping they work as well for me too.

The black residual glue (and fluff!) marks can be removed by soaking them with baby oil on a tissue - just hold the tissue over the mark until it softens then wipe it and it should roll right off - remember not to get any oil where you need to put the next patch or it won't stick though!
