Did your periods just stop?

I am 51, been regular as clockwork since I was a teenager. Last period was the 7th June. I expected more fanfare (e.g longer, lighter or heavier) I just can't believe this might be it.

The 7th June wasn't that long ago really. I wouldn't necessarily assume that was it done now.

I think everyone is different in their patterns.

I too am 51.

My periods stopped two years ago for up to 100 days each time. I was very pleased apart from not being able to time their arrival.

Then wham, this year they're back every 27 days like before but my word, they are exceptionally heavy and painful.

I'm hoping this is their last hurrah.

Agreed June wasn’t that long ago but mine were like clockwork until August last year. Then stopped and that’s been it. Mother and sister were apparently the same.

Neither of them had any other issues but it’s hot flush central over here lately.

Yes. Mine just stopped. I do remember getting one more after s few months, which was a bit shocking, and lots of months feeling as though I were going to start, but didn't.
But it's a definite benefit of getting older, no more periods.

Thank you for your replies. I'm not jumping for joy just yet. I agree June wasn't that long ago..I dare not leave the house without a bagful of sanitary protection. I'd imagine that another one will arrive around the time I go on holiday 🙄
