Hi, I'm on HRT gel and I have a coil. I was wondering if it's safe to take Holland & Barrett's Health & Her supplements or is that just going overboard? I wanted something for my hair and memory

If the supplements are basically what you'd find in food, they will be safe.
Have you studied the ingredients on the pack? What's in them?

Hello, all the usual ingredients plus red clover, sage leaf extract, ginseng root, cranberry fruit extract, ginkgo and ashwagandha root extract.

TBH if you are using HRT is it not worth upping the estrogen to see if that helps?

Scientifically there is no proof herbal supplements work. The RCOG produced the results of research which you can find here - from Page 5 of the doc. https://www.rcog.org.uk/media/gwbntgdu/sip_6.pdf

Why not just cook with turmeric and eat a small handful of nuts daily. Both great for memory and concentration. It may be enough.

Biotin is for hair isn't it. I found biotin gave me a headache.

If you are losing hair, the caffeine shampoos are good- like Plantur.
