Awful perimenopause period pain

Suffering today and just looking for solidarity I think as I just feel rubbish!
Still regular periods, now very heavy though shorter than before. But the cramps are hideous. Am taking HRT which has been transformational for many symptoms.
This morning, day 2 of period, am lying on my side on the sofa with what feels like burning ovaries, I'm constipated so everything feels so inflated and full, lots of pressure so much so that sitting down is really uncomfortable.
It'll pass, have had paracetamol and am lucky I can WFH.
But really, enough now, just need these buggers to stop.

My periods haven’t really changed but my cramps have got much worse. I also get a bit constipated but think that may be partially because it is so painful to go!

I’ve not started HRT yet but I think it’s probably time I did. Hope you feel better soon.

Thanks for your kindness@Topee am just feeling sorry for myself!! Constipation is common due to hormone fluctuations but it just adds more pain to the whole thing doesn't it?!
The HRT has definitely helped me with brain fog, energy levels and sleeping patterns.
