Is nausea and acid stomach common in peri?

Does anyone else suffer from awful nausea?
I do already suffer with IBS which has just been awful since I hit peri and various tests (including a colonscopy last week) come back clear but this nausea, burping, acid and stomach discomfort is just horrible.
I am still cycling and the nausea seems to be at its worse mid cycle. I had all the signs of ovulation yesterday and felt so bloated and uncomfortable with pelvic pain (for as long as I can remember I have had terrible pelvic pain during ovulation) and today I have felt so nauseous since I got up (eating breakfast made it much worse).
I don’t know what to take for it. The gastroenterologists and GP are not helpful. PPI’s upset my IBS. I do take gaviscon but it really doesn’t help much. Mint and ginger tea too but they aren’t helpful either.
It is like morning sickness but has been going on for about 5 years now (I am 50). I hate it.
Anyone else experience this?

I got prescibed cyclizine for horrendous nausea, actually took a pregnancy test as it was just like morning sickness!
I just buy it from the pharmacy now and it really helps with feeling sick and stomach ache.
My ibs symptoms only began with peri menopause, not much fun.
Hope you get sorted, good luck.

Thank you whosaidthatnowplease I will get some today, I can not shift this nausea. It really isn’t fun at all is it? I have many peri symptoms, however atm the gut issues are driving me insane. I’d put up with everything else if I could just settle my digestive system.

How are you getting on @Whostolemyporkpie any improvement?

whosaidthatnowplease it comes and goes but I notice that it’s definitely worse at certain times of my cycle. I’ve always struggled mid cycle and the nausea is definitely worse then.
