Switching from patch to gel

Does anyone have any experience of this? Started patches 3 months ago. Had a huge improvement in symptoms really quickly. Was very happy apart from the small niggle of black marks where patches had been. Decided to try gel and after a couple of weeks symptoms are creeping back. Insomnia and anxiety are pretty bad again. I tried a couple of days of only 1 pump but that seemed to make it worse so now trying 3 pumps. Hoping to start feeling more like myself soon.

Following with interest as I’m tempted by the gel but it seems like a massive faff

The gel is really easy to apply. I put it on when I get out of the shower and leave it to dry while I do my moisturiser. Just not sure it's as effective for me or if it just needs some time to settle.

I switched from gel to patch and feel more even keeled. On the gel there were days when I felt that I was getting no relief from symptoms. I’d go back to the patch if I were you! I got the black marks off yesterday surprisingly easily with a sponge and some soap - the sponge worked whereas a flannel wouldn’t (more exfoliating)

A cotton bud with a drop of baby oil on it - you’ll have the black marks off in seconds.
