Provera to drop period whilst on holiday

Does anyone know if it's ok to take Provera whilst on hrt patches just to stop my period coming whilst away on holiday?

No idea about taking it with HRT but was prescribed this for my last holiday instead of the norethisterone that I requested and works for me. On a 10 day holiday I bled for 8 days and it completely ruined my (expensive) holiday.
