When to increase oestrogen

I’ve gone from 25mg to 50mg and now 75mg over the course of 6 months, with a coil for my progesterone.

Each time I go up it is great for a few weeks then the symptoms start to come back a bit. I’ve been on 75 for three months now and was doing well on them, but the past few weeks I can feel more of the brain fog, the breast tenderness, the general irritability. I’ve tried to ignore it, but now I’ve been awake since 5am with a general sense of foreboding.

I’m worried if I go up to 100mg then the same thing will happen. I’m 40 and have a long road of this ahead of me and am not sure what to do.

I feel sick with anxiety about work, but I’ve checked and re checked my emails at 5am and I’ve nothing to be anxious about!!!

Morning,

I don’t have the answers just wanted to pop in and show some solidarity. I’m in the same boat and have wondered the same thing.

I do take Cbd for the anxiety though and find it very effective as well as running which I took up this year to manage peri symptoms.
Sorry if that’s teaching you to suck eggs… x

No not at all @Hemlock2013, grateful for any suggestions at this point. I can’t run due to an injury but I do lift weights which helps massively. Never tried the CBD but very tempted!

@UsernameNotAvailableNow definitely try cbd… you can get oil off Amazon that just goes under the tongue. It really takes the edge off.

it’s proper shit this menopause

For me it was every time the hot flushes started up badly again (the odd one ok, back to them being regular and nuclear not). I'm now on 3 pumps a day of oestrogel. I don't think you said what form you take it in - I've found the gel the best after having used patches previously.

My symptoms came back each time then when I went to 100, after 5 months no breast pain, no night sweat, all fine.
