Hi, my gp has refused me hrt, I have all the symptoms of menopause but my blood tests are showing up I’m not menopausal. I’ve had blood tests to rule out anything else. I’m considering ordering hrt online but it’s all a bit confusing , I don’t know where to start. Anya device welcomed

How old are you? NICE guidelines state lab tests not required in over 45s so if in that age group point this out.

If younger and you're sure it's peri related be persistent, keep going back or ask for another GP. Make sure you've read up about it all and present them with 'I have <insert problems>, I believe it to be peri related and would like to try body identical HRT with a review in 3 mths'. What problems have you been experiencing, have you tried lifestyle changes first so cutting out booze and caffeine to promote good sleep?

Or, go private if you can afford it but you really shouldn't have to.

Hi I’m 42 , I’ve had blood tests recently and the gp told me they’d rent an accurate indicator but I have night sweats, low libido, increased emotions, irregular periods, vaginal dryness and painful se.
