Severe hangover feeling every morning

Just wondering if anyone can relate to this or advise.
I was struggling about 6 years ago with similar, waking up every day feeling like I'm severely hungover some days much worse than others, brain fig and exhausted and eventually after tests and getting nowhere they discovered early peri menopause and it was like a huge relief knowing I wasn't crazy.
Mirena and eostrogel (can't spell it) helped and I could function again.
Fast forward to now and symptoms are worse than ever, I wake in the night every night with my entire body aching and sort of tingling like my nerves are on edge, headache, feel dehydrated (I'm not and I no longer can drink alcohol at all) nausea and sort of feverish but not hot sweats, some times a sore throat
I have times where it seems way worse but can't connect it to anything and in the morning I need painkillers and sleep and just can't function.
I have had to tell my new work I have a virus so have to wfh

I have been back to the GP so many times but it's always a different doctor than doesn't listen and usually says it's viral and after 18 months saw a gynaecologist (as GP said testosterone was low) and he immediately said low testosterone isn't actually a thing, told me to up my dose of gel to three pumps and discharged me)

I just can't cope with this anymore and feel like I'm constantly moaning or making it it.
Im not even sure its anything to do with menopause but it's so hard to know because what the heck else can it be and menopause seems to cover literally every symptom going.

Have you ruled out diabetes?

How’s your iron? I felt like that when I was anaemic.

I've had quite a few blood tests and have had low vitamin D quite regularly and have often had low iron in my life, I assume diabetes would show up in the general bloods.
My partner has type 1 diabetes so I might use his kit to test myself.
Thanks for responding.

When you say sore throat, do you mean you awake with a sore throat that goes away, or do you mean you keep getting sore throats which last a few days? I ask because I wondered if it's possible you are snoring heavily and/or have sleep apnoea. Might explain why you wake up feeling groggy and exhausted.

curtaintwitcher23 · 14/07/2023 08:31

@ScaredSceptic no it is just a symptom when I'm at peak feeling rotten, my partner is a pretty light sleeper and has never mentioned me snoring- he snores sometimes and I give him a shove so it's not something he wouldn't mention.

This post could have been written by me, I dread going to bed as 60% of the time I wake up feeling like I've been out on the tiles miixing all my drinks up. . It sucks. Pleased I'm not alone. It's driving me nuts.
