I am 43 but definitely peri - cycles starting to get more erratic and I've just come on after a 65 day cycle which is a record!! I use a mooncup
and the first few days are usually very thick, gloopy and full of clots as you'd expect really.

However this has been very very watery and very strong smelling.

Has anyone else experienced this and should I be worried?? No other particularly strange symptoms.

I wonder if I wasn't wearing the cup would this have been a 'flooding' type period??

Sounds more like an infection. I'd get it checked out.

10+ years of peri period dysfunction here and what you're describing is new to me... I think you're right to be concerned. Particularly about smell. Please get it checked out.

Hmmm bugger I was hoping to be reassured that it was all part of the glamour of womanhood.

We're away this weekend ill keep an eye on it and try for GP when we're back

Could you be pregnant by any chance?

I think I've had that OP. I've got a Mirena coil now so no more periods but my periods were very haywire for a few years before getting the coil. Mostly very heavy and a lot of clotting but occasionally more watery. Probably worth talking to your GP.
