Has anyone used progesterone cream instead of oestrogen and progesterone HRT?

I'm on oestrogel and utrogestan. I'm 57 and post menopausal. I've put on a lot of weight and my boobs are huge. I feel a lot better on the days I take utrogestan but I'm starting to feel a bit sick of taking the tablets and the gel is messy. Saw an advert for a progesterone cream and wondered if thar might be better for me.

I am awaiting the results of a DEXA scan so will wait and see before making any big decisions. Thanks.

I recently started Lenzetto which is so much better than the gel - you just spray it on your arm or leg and it dries far quicker than the gel. It's slightly less flexible on dosage as one spray is the same as two pumps of gel. It seems to have some interaction with suncream too - I assume it doesn't get absorbed if you already have suncream on that area and gets wiped off if you put the suncream on afterwards - in practice I just put it on a bit of my body that's going to be covered. For progesterone I haven't tried cream but I have the mirena coil which is very low hassle.

Progesterone cream can't be absorbed through the skin to make any difference. To do so, you'd need to apply gallons of it.
These adverts are a bit of a scam. Any 'success' women report is the placebo effect.
