Looking for experiences of the year after last period leading to menopause. I know absolutely nothing about it but have a feeling that's what's happening.

I'm 45, had a baby 18 months ago so have put anything hormonal down to that. However, looking back, cycles had become irregular in the couple of years prior.

I am now on CD64, which has never happened. (By irregular I meant 25-35 days as opposed to a consistent 28 day cycle).

That combined with the following:

Flooding, nausea and headaches since I gave birth.
In the last few days insomnia and hot flushes.

Makes me think that's got to be what's going on. Does it sound familiar to anyone? Sorry if I'm being thick, google just has my head in a spin so I'm asking here instead.

(Negative hpt btw)
