Some other people in same boat - POI
POI at 38, successful IVF at 40, and never bled again after that.
Was put on HRT due to meno symptoms, anxiety, exhaustion, hot flushes (could have been new motherhood!).
Was ok ish, lived with perm headaches and wondering if memory loss was normal at 43.
6 months ago I went for my first HRT check-up (yes 3 years later - thanks to Davina for suggesting it) and was put on body identical HRT (Utrogestan 100mg / Oestrogen 2/3 pumps).
Gel f*cking amazing - memory started to come back !
Progesterone - started to bleed, been bleeding for 6 months now, bloating, mood swings etc . (lots of trips back to drs, try continous, try cyclinic, cancer tests negative).
Had FSH tests again 6 weeks apart - which puts me at perimenopause, after 3 years of not bleeding and thinking i was post meno.
So back again today to beg for another type of progesterone to stop the bleeding.
My real question is : anyone else POI and ovaries started up again ? is this really a thing. Felt sure it was all over after 3 years.
