Hi, I started HRT a couple of weeks ago, am 44 and peri so still having periods but they have been irregular for the last year or so. I have been prescribed gel and progesterone tablets and was told, because periods are irregular, to start gel straight away and take tablets on days 15-26 of the gel. My period has started today but day 15 of the gel isn't until this Friday. Should I start progesterone on Friday or wait until day 15 of this menstrual cycle (counting today as day 1)? Anyone done this before?
