Concerns about evorel sequi (synthetic vs body identical)

I started 6 months ago on utrogestan & osetrogel but there's awful problems getting hold of the utrogestan so GP has swopped me onto Evorel Sequi. I've just been reading up on it trying to figure out which patch to use when but then also noticed the progesterone is synthetic not body identical like Utrogestan. Not only have I read that this is the better option, but my own GP was at pains to tell me how they only like prescribing body identical HRT at my first appointment.

I'm really struggling without anything but nervous starting now I've read up on it. Anyone know anything about Evorel Sequi patches and whether I'm being paranoid or need to push for an alternative.

following, I’ve just been moved to Everol conti after 3 months of gel and ultrogestan due to supply issues. All the doctor told me was when it’s back in supply I could potentially change back. Tbh 3 days in I’m liking the patches over the gel as they gave me dry skin, and much less faffy, so hopefully I can move to oestrogen patches and ultrogestan once it’s available.

I'm on this and it's changed my life, try not to worry, it actually works that's the main thing.
