Intermittent fasting and HRT

I've been on HRT, same amount of oestrogen for over 6 months now and have had symptoms return in teh last few weeks. I.e. some of the symptoms I had before hrt, and which oestrogen seemed to resolve, such as headaches, brain fog, lethargy/fatigue, irritability, difficulty sleeping, anxiety, etc. have suddenly resurfaced despite oestrogen dose remaining stable.

Looking back I can't see anything's changed except that I've started intermittent fasting (5:2) to lose a bit of weight before holiday. I can't see any evidence online that this interferes with HRT, but wondered if anyone has had any experience along these lines?

Or any experience of hrt dose staying the same but symptoms reappearing anyway?

Bumping as I have been wondering the same - I believe one (if not both) elements are fat soluble so I wonder if fasting would reduce effectiveness? Ive started doing full fasts in the last month (every other day) in an effort to reduce the huge amount of weight I’ve put on in the last 6 months (since staring hrt).

Oh, thanks -- that's an interesting possibility. My science and biology knowledge is near non-existent so this would never have occurred to me but sounds like it might make some sense. Will have to do a bit of googling...
