Hi all. Hoping that someone with more experience in this can help answer. Both me and my friend are on HRT but different methods so I am not sure how to advice (she is also not on MN so I am writing here). She has been fully menopausal for 7 years and started HRT six months ago. Started on the Elleste duet tablets and so many of the symptoms like fatigue, low mood, energy and much more went away very quickly. BUT her boobs grew very much so the gp switched her over to the Evorel Conti 50. Boobs went down but also a lot of her other symptoms have come back. Fatigue, low mood, lack of oomph etc etc etc.
My two pennies is that she needs a stronger patch and have googled but cannot see how the Elleste duet and Evorlel Conti 50 compare in regards to the strenght of oestrogen (estradiol).
Can anyone shed any light or share their own experience please?
