First pump of owstrogel

Hi, does anyone know why the first pump of oestrogel shouldn’t be taken?

I don’t think it’s the correct dose

It might not be the full dose as the gel has to fully fill the pump tube.

Tbh, I always use the first pump, and add a bit extra if it doesn't look enough.

Thank you! I had a very stressful day which coincided with my first dose and felt so very exhausted for most of the day. So wondered if I’d done something wrong with the pump. That’s reassuring what you‘ve said. Thank you
