A change in symptoms and benefits on third month of Progesterone?

Progesterone for the last 12 days of the month. Oestrogen spray daily.

1st month very heavy bleed, slept like a baby and fair less aches but only for progesterone days.

2nd month, pretty much normal period, sleep and aches both improved during progesterone days.

3rd month, symptoms but no bleed for period, no improvement in sleep or aches during progesterone days. I was looking forward to the progesterone nights due to the benefits (despite period) and then there were no benefits!

My understanding was that the progesterone created the bleed. Need I worry about no bleed? Until starting HRT I was very regular and had only skipped one period at the beginning of the year, just after I had Covid. I know that being peri menopausal periods might become less regular.

Any thoughts or experiences please?

Don't worry. It sounds as if all that's going on is your own estrogen levels are low now, and the spray needs increasing. A bleed is usually directly related to the amount of estrogen (yours or HRT) and the ratio of it to progesterone.
Too much of one or the other = either a heavy bleed or no bleed.

If your symptoms have come back, talk to your GP about using more spray unless you've the go-ahead to increase as needed.

Yes but that was 2 months ago.

It tests what is going on, on that day.

And if you were on HRT , the test would be including the estrogen from HRT.

Estrogen continues to fall throughout peri and post menopause.

If your symptoms have come back, medical advice is to increase the estrogen.

Has your dr said you can manage this yourself using more Lenzetto? Women who use gel are allowed to adjust the dose upwards if they need to.

No the oestrogen levels were checked the day before 3rd month of progesterone was started.

Period started this afternoon 2w and 4d later than usual. Do I keep the progesterone on the 4 week cycle?
