I think I made a mistake with my HRT

I'm on 75 patches and I had a couple of not great nights sleep so thought I would try cutting my patch to make it an 100 patch. I haven't been able to sleep at all had a couple of hours that's it. I've taken the extra patch off. Will it take long to get the extra out my system. I'm so annoyed I did it. Anyone experienced this or any idea if it will be quick to go back to normal. Thanks

Lack of sleep is torture. Mine was dreadful until about three days after putting on my first patch.
Have you not been able to sleep because you are worried about cutting up the patch and using more than prescribed? I know it may sound silly but if you wouldn’t normally go against medical advice this may be causing you the stress. I’ve accidentally put two patches on and not worried about it at all. I’ve just removed the second one when I found it. So this type of thing wouldn’t bother me.

@Mongoosesorry I had a few days were sleep wasn't great so thought I would up my dose. Mum said the sleep problems could have been because it's been hot. I wasn't worried about upping the dose just couldn't sleep. Poo
