Is there a blood test the GP can request to see if I am absorbing my htt?
I posted in general health about recent blood tests for symtoms feel like the return of pre hrt perimenopause, only worse.
I'm 45, have been taking hrt (now on 100 patches plus Mirena) for a couple of years, plus testosterone for over a year. I asked my very good GP about my dose a couple of months ago due to symptoms and she said she doubted I needed more. I would try the gel if it looked my absorption was low.

Bumping for you OP as I was wondering the same. If all else fails (read: if GP refuses test or the NHS just doesn't do one), there are various private tests, like from Randox. Sadly, they are expensive. 🙄

Thanks Cosmetichamster she did mention there was something available, but I wanted to ask her with the name of what I needed rather than going in saying I feel rubbish again and getting side tracked by the usual "of course you feel rubbish, your life is very stressfull" talk.
