Undetectable oestrogen

Hi there,

I’ve recently had a blood test to check my hormone levels, as I have been experiencing some symptoms of peri menopause. The results have come back abnormal with my oestradiol levels marked as undetectable and inappropriately low gonadotrophins. I can only get an appointment for two weeks time and although I know it isn’t urgent, I was just wondering what on earth this may indicate, if anything?

I am on the pill and although this would impact results, surely it wouldn’t suppress my levels to nil. I’m afraid I’ll just have to wait.
