If you are using a sequential regime, with a timed withdrawal bleed every month you should not get spotting.

There are zillions of side effects on every medicine (even drugs bought over the counter ) but most people don't get any or only some and not seriously.

Is there any reason you aren't on Evorel conti high has the progesterone included?

I’ve been on this combination about 18 months, stopped virtually all my symptoms although still have some sleep issues.

The female GP who prescribed it said it was currently the ‘gold standard’ HRT treatment.

I haven’t put on weight, was 2 stone over my ideal when I started and have lost half a stone however it’s been very slow progress and I’ve made a lot of positive lifestyle changes around diet and exercise so disappointed at the slow progress - I’m guessing though that’s just an age thing in general though, unfortunately.

I put off getting HRT for a couple of years because of negative reports around it and have to say I am overall delighted.

I have everol 50 and use 1 x 100mg Utrogestan vaginally so no side effects , get a little bloated but it's worth it for the long list of other Meno symptoms it stops.

Oh right well I have tried the gel then evorel conti but had the bleeds constantly so was referred to a specialist dr who said to try this since starting hrt 2yrs ago I have put on 6lb but had lost a lot of weight before so wasn’t to worried about that but then started bloating which I hate the bleeding constantly so was getting me down since waiting to see the specialist which took nearly 4 months i stopped my patch for 2 weeks till got my appointment and felt ok not started new stuff yet as had trouble getting the utrogestan so been a month with no hrt feeling down a bit due to issues at home and still bloated but sleep gone need to be on hrt unfortunately as got osteoporosis and it’s meant to help
