Can increased dose of hrt cause a return of migraines?

I used to suffer with frequent migraines which stopped when I started hrt. My patch was increased from 75 to 100 a few weeks ago and suddenly my migraines are back and I'm gutted. Has anybody else experienced this? Is it likely to settle down or could it be that my dose is too high? Any advice appreciated :(

I had horrendous migraines for years, which have become less frequent on HRT. they haven’t increased with the increase in dose for me, my HRT patch went up from 50 to 100 .
Sorry you are suffering, if you want to experiment the HRT nurse did say that you can cut patches to reduce or increase doses. Maybe cut a corner off and see if the reduction helps whilst you are waiting to speak to the HRT nurse.

I've never had a migraine but I do get headaches when my patch changes.

They go after a few weeks.

Thinking about it, I do remember when I first started on a 50 patch they increased but then settled again really quickly. I suppose I just need to give it time to settle down & see what happens - thanks :)
