Peri & Low Cortisol Levels

Dr ordered blood tests as I’d been feeling absolutely dreadful, no energy, tearful and really really down. I was convinced I was peri menopausal and Dr agreed

blood tests were ordered, one of them was serum cortisol levels which have come back at borderline low at 225 - but I had the test before 9am as instructed as cortisol levels are at their highest first thing.

I’m waiting to request a call back from the Dr’s (all lines of communication have been turned off until tomorrow at 8am)

has anyone got any experience of low cortisol levels and peri menopause?
