I just keep getting migraines and this morning was retching like morning sickness with nausea. I’ve run out of sumantripan and paracetamol isn’t helping much. I’m just so so fed up of how debilitating they are on my mood and confidence. I’ve had to have decapepty injections whilst I wait for op on fibroids to try shrink them, and despite still being on oestrogel just feel crap and an utterly fed up tired 50yr old. It does feel like we just get forgotten in this world and expected to solider on.

I suffer really badly too and always with vomiting that lasts for approx 36 hours - such a killer.

I begged the GP to give me more zomig and now take them at the first feelings of migraine rather than as a last resort.

It does work sometimes but I find it works best if I take it and then 20 minutes later eat. Something in eating 20 minutes after seems to work well for me.

I've also in desperation often taken two soluable asprin as well as the zomig and that hits the spot too - quite frankly I don't care if it kills me - my vomiting through migraine makes me feel suicidal in any event!

I only really get them around my period though - very very much hoping menopause stops them - nearly 53 now and no signs of menopause....

@alittlequinnie have you tried prochlorperazine for the vomiting?

It is supposed to dissolve under your lip but honestly isn't that good at that and often needs shoving about a bit

I don't get that much nausea with mine but when I do, prochlorperazine is like a tiny miracle.
