So I’ve been on HRT for about 2 years now, I was on the gel (2 pumps) until 3 months ago then moved to patches (75). I know my dose of oestrogen has increased, this was done by my GP as I was still feeling really tired all the time. Things are much better now but I’ve started getting a horrible metallic taste in my mouth, especially in the morning when I wake up, and it seems worse the first couple of days into a fresh patch. Does anyone know if this is a thing? I’ve googled and it seems to be a menopause symptom but I’m starting to wonder if my oestrogen might be a bit high now? Just wondered if anyone else had had this, thanks 🙂
