I’m on evorel sequi patches and I’m going on holiday next month. I’ve now spoken to 3 GPs at my practice and none of them know if it’s possible to take noretheristerone to delay my period when I’m away. The one I spoke to today said it might be dangerous and so she’s going to contact a gyne consultant at the hospital for advice but it might take a few weeks.
Has anyone done this I’m desperate not to be having my period when I’m away it my first holiday in years. The thought of going on a plane bleeding fills me with horror, it can be really heavy some months.
I also mentioned stopping the patches as I don’t think there having that much of a good affect on me I get stomach issues and can feel really down on the conti patches but she advised that if I do stop I won’t be able to ever go back on it because the cancer risk increases each time you stop and start. Has anyone else been told this?
