How bad are the current hrt shortages?

Online pharmacy has my meds on backorder but I'm abroad at the moment and can't ring the local pharmacies to see if they have stock.
I've got a GP appointment booked to schedule a blood draw (to check my absorption) ahead of my appointment with the menopause GP, I just want to keep my dose steady until then. Having a slight panic about having no meds and all the appointments going down like dominoes.

I didn't know there was a shortage still?

I've had no problem getting mine.

Ok great, thanks. Maybe it's not as bad as last time. Guardian says utrogestan is in short supply but pharmacy has patches still on order too.

Where are you based?
I had a new prescription issued 12th May which I have struggled to fill, my regular patches were not available and I was given a generic brand.

I have been unable to obtain utrogestan anywhere in the area, my GP finally issued a prescription for an alternative yesterday.

I hope you have better luck.

I live in London glassofwine. Glad you were able to get an alternative.

Dh checked the post for me and an old order (backordered! but from ages ago) has arrived, which will keep me going until the blood test, which was all I was worried about. I'm not convinced the higher dose is doing much for me so it's a drag that it's so awkward to get!
