Switching from combined pill to HRT

Hi everyone. New here, early menopause sufferer. I’m 41 and my meno symptoms are brain fog, poor memory, restless leg syndrome, thinning hair, vaginal atrophy, low libido and difficulty becoming aroused.

My gynaecologist is switching me from the combined pill to everol sequi patches shortly. I already use Estriol cream.

I’d be interested to hear the experiences of others who have switched from the contraceptive pill to HRT. I’m really hoping it’s going to improve things for me but don’t want to get my hopes up.

I went from Combined pill to HRT (Oestrogel 2 pumps a day, utrogestan 200mg 14/28)

Literally stopped pill one day and started HRT the next. I'm now also on progesterone only contraceptive pill as well.

My symptoms:
brain fog- gone (well mostly)
poor memory- better
thinning hair- hoping this will improve
low libido - solved
Anger/rage- gone
Generally feeling very down- gone
Hot flushes- reduced
Insomnia- competently gone on utrogestan days, very occasional on the other days. (I was sleeping well about 5 days a month. I now sleep well about 25 days a month)

It was like a miracle tbh. I feel like me again. Just angry it took 2 years (and a private doctor) to get what I needed.
