Taking Evorel patch off without ripping off my skin?

I’m peeling my patches off on dry skin and it always hurts, then today I noticed a ragged zig zag edge outside the edge of the patch where it has literally peeled away my skin with it. I already get spots and irritation under these massive plastic crisp packets, so removing the top layer of skin really isn’t helping.
Can anyone suggest gentler ways to remove the patch? Do I have to do it in the shower? Or should I ask if I can move to the Estradot for less sticker acreage?

What about after a bath?

You can get medical adhesive remover spray/wipes from Amazon. I used these with my little boy when he had a sticky medical device and it just lifts up after using them

Any type of oil will help - just rub in round the edges and it will start to come away - bio oil, baby oil, even olive oil.
Alternatively, you can buy specific ointments to remove medical patches - the one we have is call 'lift' medical adhesive remover but they do a whole range

I will look into these. Thank you all. I have been trying to melt off the square black rings with various oils without success so maybe some of these will even do both jobs <hopeful>
We don’t have a bath, just hasty showers around here- could give that a go too. Thank you

You might be better off trying something else if you are a bit sensitive to them and it's causing irritation.
Did you try the pump gel?

I definitely second using baby oil - helps the patch come off like a dream.
