At 55yrs I have started on Everglades conti patches as I have been suffering with almost all of the menopause symptoms 😞. I’ve always been sensitive to hormonal changes (pregnancy, contraception etc), so was very wary! I have been bleeding for 6 weeks and now my GP wants to start me on more progesterone to stop the bleeding, but I’m not sure I should. What’s other ladies experiences and has anyone cut their patches in half to reduce the dose?
I am also doing lots of reading around the use of testosterone in menopause as I am still suffering with some symptoms ( actually thing depression is worse) - does anyone else get testosterone prescribed? My GP has refused

I had the same problem at first can safely say doubling up the progesterone cured it completely.

That’s reassuring to know, thank you. Did you stay in the progesterone for long? My GP hasn’t said how long to take it for

It was for 12 weeks I could’ve continued on that dosage if I wished but I took it back to one a night gradually and no issues since.
