Day 6 on Utrogestan, ate Pringles 15 minutes later, now feeling off my face. Is this a thing?

I know it says 2 hours after food and 1 hour before, but I was starving due to erratic eating with busy, stressful day at work.

Ate 1/5 tube of Pringles and the room started spinning, felt really weird like I’ve never felt before. Not faint, just out of it. Very scary.

Starting to feel better now but read leaflet and it says eating can increase drowsiness. I didn’t realise, so stupid of me.

Other than this, I’ve been getting on so well with HRT. New lease of life great.

Has anyone else experienced this?

Yes! I normally take mine through the night on an empty stomach but once forgot and had them with breakfast, the room was spinning, I had nausea then was sick. Had to lie down for 1/2 hour. Never again.

Yep me too, felt stoned!! Dp had to take me to bed.

I also had a very weird episode like this when I first started taking them and had to lie down for an hour. I now take them vaginally rather than orally because it minimises the side effects for me.

yep, take it at night before bed. very spinny otherwise. a cheap high though 😂

Thanks everyone for your replies, glad it’s not just me.

I thought the whole ‘empty stomach’ thing was because it would make it less effective on a full stomach, not because of the acid trip side effects!

and @lightlypoached , I’m ashamed to admit I was already in bed when the need for Pringles arose!

Lesson learned.

I've been on these for a few months now and they aren't great. I take them before bed. Last night I had hardly any sleep. I have sweating, anxiety, all over aching, nausea, headaches. It's been bearable up to now but omg the last few days I have not functioned. I don't know whether its the pills or what. I have another few days on them until I have the 2 weeks off. I'm phoning the doc on Monday.
Good luck
