HRT, to take or not to take?

I'm 50, perimenopausal, as still have regular periods, but they are lighter and shorter. Apart from that not many symptoms that are bothering me. Should I take HRT as a preventative measure against things like dementia and protecting my bone health? I read such conflicting info online.

It’s a personal choice but the benefits are greater than the risk for so many women.

Bone health
hair loss
abdominal fat
joint aches
bladder issues
heart disease
stroke
Alzheimer’s
Mood swings
depression

Be careful with HRT.
Great as it can be for many women, it can come with some unwanted side effects too. Things like bleeding, cramps, bloating etc.

I would say if your symptoms aren't bothering you, keep going without HRT. IF you experience bladder issues ever, vagifem and Ovestin are excellent products which you can apply topically.

Good luck 🤞
