I've posted several times over the previous month's about severe itching and soreness around and inside and also anus.
Ive already had an internal exam by a doctor two weeks ago she said all looked fine , although she prescribed Clobaderm ointment incase!
I still think it could be lichen sceloris, she's referred me to a dermatologist but who knows how long the wait will be.
Over the last 24 Hours it's ramped up I can now see what look like sores just inside , red raw, weeing is like a million paper cuts and I'm holding on to the sink for dear life ! I've an appointment with 111 face to face doctor at 5pm.
Here is what I've tried so far.
Clobaderm ointment (very reluctant to use this though without a LS diagnosis)
Vagisil cream
Vagisil powder
Emoillent for washing
Ovestin which has helped with urge incontinence.
I started in HRT 7 weeks ago I use Everol Sequi 50 patches and then the conti for 2 weeks , I feel no different but determined to see if through for 12 weeks, I had the itching before this but it's definitely got worse.
I wash my underwear separately, I've purchased new underwear , I don't use fabric conditioner and little powder , I dry it outside where possible.
I've tried thrush treatments and fluconzole tablets , I've had an antibiotic course for a UTI but I don't have a UTI.
My GP didn't take any swabs !!
My diet hasn't changed , I drink lots of water. I had a Hba1C blood test done in Friday result will be in tomorrow in case it's type 2 diabetes.
Sex is of the question, exercise is killing me , I have a physical job and don't know how I'll cope this week.
Who knew a vagina could cause so many issues.
Is there anything ive missed wise ladies ?
I'm sorry for the long post but I'm feeling pretty desperate today.

Update * thanks to everyone for sticking with me on this thread.
I did indeed go to the sexual health clinic and had a full screening and examination, she doesn't think it's Lichen Sceloris which is good , she doesn't see any thrush issues but sometimes she said things can't always be seen. She did lots of swabs and also took bloods , results back in two weeks or so.
I saw the advanced nurse today and we've agreed I will stop using Everol Sequi 50* as I've only been on it 7.5weeks she said I could just literally take off the patch and stop. I have a follow up appointment with the actual doctor who prescribed it for me in the first place in a few weeks. I'll see how I feel without it.
The vaginal cuts seem to be healing using the clobestol and I've always got the Yes moisturizer as well now.
Watch this space I guess and see how things pan out.
Thanks for all the support

@Maltybiscuit Since you've got an appt in 5 weeks, what are you doing meantime for the itching. I've got LS diagnosed by a biopsy. No white patches or sores but indescribable itching (vulva, anus and all areas in between esp perineum) I have a portable bidet which sits on top of the loo. Hot water and baking soda or borax which I find more effective, and I sit in that for 10mins before bed. Then I rub a cream with lidocaine in it into the area (Germaloids) and sleep like a baby

@bornintheuk2 so sorry to hear you're suffering like this , I had a full screening at the sexual health clinic because it was only there someone would examine me , she couldn't see any sign of LS and all my swabs have come back negative , I haven't had a specific biopsy for LS as my GP doesn't think it is.
Since I stopped HRT 3 weeks ago (I'd only been on it for 8 weeks ) I feel a lot better in myself and the itching has completely disappeared, I've still got a drawer full of potions including clobestol, yes , vagisil , Ovestin but haven't used anything for the three weeks I stopped the hrt, it might be a total coincidence but I feel a lot happier.
Have you been prescribed a steroid as you have a LS diagnosis?

I had similar symptoms my friends suggested it was LS and I thought that's what it might have been . The symptoms went when I started a new relationship. Apparently its one of the recommended ways to stave off atrophy (by increasing blood flow to the region). Using a sex toy can be beneficial if you aren't having a regular (satisfying) sex life.

@Maltybiscuit thanks for getting back to me. Yes, I was prescribed Dermovate but after the initial relief, it burned like hell and I had to run to the bidet to wash it off.
@Northernsoullover Good luck with that. I could no sooner allow access to my bits than I could fly to the moon
