Night sweats 10 years in

Hi all - my periods stopped about 10 years ago. I went on HRT for a few years then stopped. Mostly I'm ok, still get the rage but I can deal with it! But most nights I get sweats, not in the day. Is there anything I can do to help it? I feel like I spend all night flinging the duvet back when I'm sweating then wrapping it round me when I get cold again. Not the end of the world but it definitely interrupts my sleep!

Why did you drop HRT?

Also cut out sugar

Cut out alcohol & caffeine, lose weight, exercise and improve your diet. Also CBT can help.

@redblonde Consider going back on HRT? Some women have night sweats forever, so is there any point suffering if HRT could stop them?

I've used it for 15 years and when I stopped for a while they came back.

My menopause was 13 years ago but I still get night sweats. Not as bad as before but my thermostat seems to be broken at night. I use a sheet under the duvet so when I overheat I keep that on and it avoids freezing 5 minutes later.
Never took HRT (breast cancer history).

Mine was 15 years ago and night sweats have just started. I didn't get them while I was actually going through it.
