When do hormones drop to lowest ?

Can anyone tell me when Oestrogen (and progesterone) reach there lowest point. And when there is the big last drop.
I am two years past my last period.
I have looked at various graphs on Google but they are quite contradictory.
thanks

Wish I knew too! I'm 5 years post menopause and on HRT. I feel awful. Crampy and irritable. I thought the hormones would stabilise eventually?

Do you mean forever @kizziee ? What's the question behind this one? Ongoing symptoms?

They will continue to decline for a long while.
You don't have any progesterone ever once you no longer ovulate. It's only produced as a response to ovulation.

In terms of bone health, they do say the biggest drop is in the first 5 years post menopause, so presumably there is a big drop in hormones then.

That doesn't mean symptoms go away after 5 years. Estrogen is needed for all major organs and without it they don't function as before.

@JinglingSpringbells following pnd many years ago I’ve had a history of anxiety and depression.
Mainly very well controlled on v low ADs.
During peri I had a number of physical issues - inc flooding which led me to be v anaemic but mentally I was very well.
Have been discussing HRT and generally my doctor is very positive about it but one of the concerns while I’m in ‘crisis’ is to not make things worse and I had sig problems with other hormones (pill / coil etc.)
Anyway - sorry - the reason for the question is that this has hit seemingly out of the blue a few weeks and I’ve been trying to work out if two years after last period would be time for a particular shift in hormones.

Missed crucial line - few weeks ago hit with severe anxiety / depression seemingly out of the blue.

There is no single answer. Everyone is different but your hormones will continue to fall way beyond 2 years post meno.

HRT is not the same as the Pill. Totally different hormones - natural and made from plants. Not like the Pill.

Thank you for the info @JinglingSpringbells
(Im intending to take HRT for the wider health benefits but just need to get stabilised first.)
