Mirena - bleed after 6 months and worried!!

I’m 48 and had a new mirena inserted back in November. This was to stop very heavy periods and because I wanted to start HRT. I bled for few days after insertion and then nothing g which was fantastic! Had red blood last week for a day or so and cramps and today had more spotting g. I’m worried as had nothing for months. Why would I bleed after 6 months if nothing. Had nothing with my last mirena for 5 years! Help please

I had a mirena fitted in May last year to supposedly control post menopausal bleeding. For the last 2 weeks, I've had period type cramps all day and light spotting last week. Also very irritable. No clue how much oestrogen to take either! It's all a nightmare!

You might need to have as an arranged, to check your womb lining?

Well it had controlled the bleeding, but today I honestly feel as though I'm due a period! Awful PMT and cramps.

Really can't fathom any of it out tbh.

That’s how I felt and then spotting red blood for few days after nothing for 6 months!
