Everol Conti patches

After waiting a couple of months for a face to face appointment with my own (lovely) GP to discuss hrt, she's prescribed me Everol Conti patches after I guesstimated my last period was roughly a year ago.

Duly picked up the prescription, and feeling slightly apprehensive I decided to hold off starting the patches until the weekend. Except, by some random coincidence, I started bleeding yesterday.

In the back of my (foggy!) mind, I've got a vague idea that Everol Conti is prescribed if you're post menopausal, which I'm not sure I now technically am? I'll try and call the surgery tomorrow, but conscious that if I'm not now, by the time I actually get to speak to someone I probably will be!

In the interim, does anyone know if it's okay to start using them?

Its absolutely fine to use them.

I started on Evorel about 16 months ago - Sequi as it was maybe 6 months since last period, and at a referral recently the consultant suggested moving to Conti as that would probably help with random bleeds I was getting.

The difference is continuous progesterone rather than a break that triggers a bleed.

Thanks so much @putthehamsterbackinitscage - I did call the surgery to double check but am still awaiting a response 36 hours later, so really appreciate you taking the time to reply!
