Progesterone

I take 75mg desogestrel (Cerelle) daily as a POP. I don't have periods, but sometimes have a slight trace of blood when I wipe at that time of the month. I have started my first cycle of HRT this month so I'm a few days into Utrogestan 200mg each evening. Will I get a bleed, as the leaflet says, or does the fact that I already take 75mg per day of Progesterone and don't bleed mean that I won't?

probably yes.

The POP on its own is not part of hrt as it doesn't provide enough progesterone at the normal dose, so it's likely you will bleed.

It depends a little on how much estrogen you are using as that is what thickens the lining.
