Are tender legs/arms due to perimenopause

I am experiencing quite a few tender areas on my body, they are on my thighs, hips, legs and upper arms. They are not painful day to day but are very sensitive and hurt if I put any pressure on them. I’ve been reading that there are estrogen receptors in these areas and wonder if this is related to perimenopause as it is worse when I have my period. I am 44.

Hmm it seems like every bloody thing could be perimenopause but it could also be a completely unrelated condition that's also aggravated by hormones so it's worth a trip to GP I'd say.
