Hi , I’ve been on Everel Conti 50 patches for approx 9 months , have been a massive help with sleep , general brain fog and feeling stressed about things . I am also on cerelle , probably menopausal rather than peri , but no tests done and doctor happy to keep me on both , I’m 52.
However the last couple of months I’ve had far more hair loss than normal , coupled with my hair breaking off ( it’s long , but now has a lot of flyaway bits ) . Everywhere I go I’m leaving hair strands , it’s not sustainable at this rate of loss , so tonight I’m at a new doctors appointment to check my options , but I’d be grateful if anyone has any ideas of what I should be asking for .
I’m thinking blood tests to rule out anything else ( although I feel fine ) and then maybe a swap to a different type of HRT , but which , I really like the patches in all other aspects , would probably prefer tablets to a gel .
Any help gratefully received .
